Rockville Economic DevelopmentWants To Appreciate Your Business! Every year, REDI holds Business Appreciation Week (BAW) to visit local companies and thank them for choosing Rockville as their place of business.
The week consists of visits to 50+ outstanding companies in Rockville by REDI staff and its team of ambassadors, including the Mayor & Council, the REDI Board of Directors, the Rockville Chamber of Commerce Board, and Senior Staff from the City of Rockville.
What is involved in a visit? Lasting around 45 minutes, several ambassadors will meet with your team to learn about your company, develop a greater understanding of your business needs, and provide information or tools that may help you thrive.
When do the visits take place? Each day offers hourly time slots for visits between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Why does REDI do this? This event is one way that REDI likes to reach out to the existing Rockville business base to let you know how important you are to the success of the City of Rockville, and to learn more about your company and how you are doing.
What's in it for me? You will get to meet with a group that consists of a combination of local business leaders on the Rockville Chamber of Commerce Board, the REDI Board, Senior Staff of the City and/or Mayor & Council Members, who can help answer any questions you may have about doing business in Rockville. You will be provided with resources such as whom to contact for certain issues and information about tools to help you grow your business.

Breakfast is on us! After each Business Appreciation Week, REDI hosts a wrap-up breakfast for all participants and ambassadors to mingle and hear our insights from the week. This year's event will take place on Friday, April 20th, with more details to follow.
